Topic: Puppies with problems; are breeders doing enough?
Speakers: Aimee Llewellyn-Zaida is head of health and research at the Kennel Club and is one of the in house geneticists. She will talk on balanced breeding decisions and will provide information to the veterinary profession which could assist them on advising their clients on various issues involving breeding. Our other speaker is an experienced large-scale dog breeder who will convey the challenges facing the dog breeding industry and wants to get vets more involved in tackling issues which effect pet owners and dogs.
