Educational Bursary for N.I.  Veterinary Practitioners

 to further expertise in any field of clinical veterinary science

£1500 Annual Award

The award was founded in 1982 to encourage practitioners to further their expertise in their chosen discipline or project.    
 

¨     Applicants must be veterinary surgeons in full time practice in Northern Ireland

¨     Successful shortlisted entrants will be expected to present a paper for publication and/or a lecture at a venue determined by the selection panel

¨     Previous entrants may re-apply

¨     Closing date - 15th March 2011

¨     Open to certificate and diploma candidates

¨     Joint applications will be considered

Award applications for 2011 are no longer being accepted. This year VSSCo has very generously awarded two bursaries.

One award was made to Isabel Buehler to develop her clinical expertise in small animal ophthalmology.
 
The other has gone to Alfonso Martin to further his work on the use of A.S.I.F. in equine fractures.
