Jo came to VetNI via a slightly unusual route; she is a mechanical
engineer with particular experience in project planning. However her more recent work history has been very
varied and perhaps more relevant, and has included employment as a P.A. and events organiser, working for a
film director, and a period of self-employment offering services such as database management and accounts/book-keeping to small businesses and charities.
She grew up in a farming community, and is well aware of the pressures
on vets in practice as she has been married to one for nearly 20 years.
Jo is the second Secretary General of the Company.
