Guest Speaker: Dr David Stewart
Dr Stewart is a local historian with a particular interest in public health and medical matters. He leads fascinating public health history walks around central Belfast. His short talk for NIVA will focus on the causes and response to an epidemic which followed the docking in Belfast of a storm-damaged boat full of emigrants bound for America in the 1840s.
