We are a 1st and 2nd opinion practice with a highly variable and exciting caseload of both medical, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Parklands Veterinary Group. You will be part of a 13 vet team over 3 sites with a high medicine and soft tissue, orthopaedic and ECC case load availability. We would love you to join our passionate RCVS approved Small Animal team. You would be working in a dynamic structured team towards 1st and 2nd opinion caseload with a structured career progression within a family environment. We are developing a cert lead 1st and 2nd opinion regional centre for client/patient focused veterinary care.
The Role
The salary offered is £35,000 to £50,000 pro rata depending on experience. There are opportunities to increase your salary if leadership roles are taken on. Certificates and CPD strongly encouraged and supported.

Fenaghy Veterinary Clinic, Ballymena
Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus up to £5,000 relocation allowance. £5,000 welcome bonus and accommodation available.
Fenaghy Veterinary Clinic are on the lookout for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team! The successful candidate will be competent in all routine surgeries. Consultations will be 15 minutes. The role will involve working at both clinics in Ballymena and Antrim.
Our standard full-time rota will include working 4 days per week between the hours of 8:30am- 7:00pm. There will be 1:7 weekends with Saturdays 9:00am-5:00pm and Sundays 9:00am-12:00 noon in Ballymena and there is no out of hours requirement. As mentioned, we are happy to discuss what works for you!
We have excellent facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, TPLO kit and we would be happy to get more specialist equipment if you have an interest you want to develop as we have a focus on clinical excellence and client care.
We have a team of 7 Vets, 14 Nurses, 6 Receptionists, 1 Practice Manager alongside our visiting specialist Ophthalmologist. Our current certificates are advanced in small animal medicine, Dermatology, Exotics and Orthopaedic TPLO surgery. Certificates are not compulsory but supported.
